Nicole Dahlmer was born and raised in Gloucester, Massachusetts. She received a BFA in Photo with minors in Art History, Visual Narratives, and Creative Writing at Lesley University College of Art and Design - formerly The Art Institute of Boston. Her work often focuses on themes of lineage, family mythology, and her hometown. She lives in a tiny house with her husband.
